Cullen: Nitrates Directive proposal not final

The Minister for the Environment has told the IFA that a draft proposal on the Nitrates Directive that had been leaked to the association is not the Government’s final position on the matter.

The leaked document had caused outrage in the agricultural sector, but farmers now believe that there is still time to alter the proposal.
