Mandate launch campaign for pay increases

Mandate, Ireland's largest trade union has launched a national campaign to get an extra 50c an hour for thousands of low paid workers.

The calls have come ahead of the latest round of social partnership pay talks. Mandate general secretary, John Douglas, said steps must be taken to close the poverty gap.
