Alliance launches campaign for €20-a-week pay rise

An alliance of trade unions, charities and social organisations has launched a campaign for a €20-per-week pay increase for all workers in Ireland.

The alliance said it hoped the request would be considered during talks on a new national pay agreement due to get underway tomorrow.
