AA urges Govt to reverse five-cent petrol tax hike

The Automobile Association has called on the Government to reverse the five-cent increase in fuel taxes introduced in last December’s budget.

The association said the increase should be reversed in response to the recent rises in the price of petrol, which is hovering at just under €1-a-litre.
