The Irish aid agency GOAL has launched an appeal for aid for the people of the Darfur region in western Sudan.

The Irish aid agency GOAL has launched an appeal for aid for the people of the Darfur region in western Sudan.

The organisation said at least two million people had been forced off their land due to conflict in the region and most of these were now entirely reliant on food aid.
