Pub drink prices to rise

The price of beer in the Republic is set to shoot up by as much as 15c a pint next week.

The price of beer in the Republic is set to shoot up by as much as 15c a pint next week.

Main brewers Diageo – makers of Guinness stout as well as popular beers and lagers such as Smithwicks, Harp, Carlsberg and Budweiser – have confirmed they will add 6c to a pint next Tuesday.
