Auctioneers call for reduced Govt charges

Auctioneers are calling on the Government to reduce the amount of money it takes from the sale of new houses.

The Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers has said 45% of the price of a new house reverts to the Government, in a half a dozen different taxes and charges.
