First ever ‘Dáil na bPáistí’ to take place
Children from all over the country will gather for the first ever 'Dáil na bPáistí' in Dublin today.
The event will hear from children 12 years of age and under, expressing their views on issues such as drug and alcohol abuse and the education system.
This is the first of four regional events which are due to take place in Cork, Sligo and Galway.
Francis Spillane of the National Children's Office says 'Dáil na bPáistí' will give children a voice and help to integrate their views into policy-making.
