Equality Authority wants public sector 'discrimination' curbed

The Equality Authority says there is an unacceptable amount of discrimination in the public sector.

According to the body’s annual report, a substantial number of cases under the Equal Status Act in 2003 related to allegations of discrimination by government departments, health boards and local authorities.
