SFA warns 30,000 jobs may be lost by 2005

Job creation will be wiped out this year if redundancies continue at the current rate of 500 per week, according to the Small Firms Association.

The group said that if Ireland’s competitiveness fails to improve 30,000 jobs will be lost before the end of the year.
