Festival of Irish culture and art underway in China
A festival of Irish culture and art is underway in China.
The event was opened last night by Arts and Tourism Minister John O’Donoghue.
Riverdance and Donegal trad act Altan were among those who performed at the opening ceremony in Beijing.
The festival is part of the Government’s efforts to improve trade links with China, which is increasingly opening its markets to investment from the West.
