Gardaí investigate apparent abduction in Limerick

Gardaí in Limerick are investigating an apparent abduction in the city last night.

A witness to the incident reported seeing three men bundling another man into a car at St Joseph’s Church on Quinlan Street at around midnight.

The witness said the car then took off in the direction of Raheen.

Gardaí said they were examining CCTV footage taken in the area, but did not have any reports of a missing person.
