Gardaí investigate fire in Co Wexford Station

A Co Wexford garda station has been gutted by a fire overnight.

The public office at the station in Carrigbyrne suffered extensive fire damage in the blaze.

The fire is thought to have started between 11.00pm last night and 1.30am this morning, when fire services were alerted.

Gardaí have launched an investigation and the scene is being preserved for a technical examination.
