Man seriously injured in Letterkenny fracas

Gardaí in Donegal are investigating an incident in which a young man was seriously injured.

It happened at around 3.45am today, when a fracas broke out between a number of youths at Port Road, Letterkenny.

A man was arrested a short time later and is being detained at Letterkenny garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
