Independent report on e-voting system to be published today

The Electronic Voting Commission is due to publish an independent report today into the accuracy and secrecy of the electronic voting machines due to be used in the upcoming local and European elections.

The commission has been investigating concerns about the machines for two months and the Government has vowed to accept and implement its findings and recommendations.
