Barrett to contest Euro election

Anti-abortion and anti-immigration campaigner Justin Barrett has confirmed his intention to contest the upcoming European election as an independent candidate.

Mr Barrett said he would be standing in the Leinster constituency on a pro-life and anti-immigration platform.

Mr Barrett said he would also be supporting the Government’s planned citizenship referendum and would be encouraging the public to vote ‘yes’ to the proposed constitutional amendment.
