Shannonsider collects Lotto winnings

A Limerick man has picked up a cheque for almost €2m after winning last Saturday's Lotto jackpot.

The married man, who wishes to remain anonymous, had the winning numbers on a €3 ticket, purchased in O'Neills, of Upper William Street in Limerick.

The lucky winner has said he intends to look after his children and grandchildren with the win, and treat himself to his very first brand new car.
