Two held after body found

Two men were under arrest today in connection with the suspected murder of a man whose body was found in north Belfast.

Both men voluntarily attended a police station.

The discovery was made close to the Midland building, York Street at around 4am.

The area has been sealed off and the body, which has not been identified, is reportedly still at the scene.

Detectives said there was nothing at this stage to suggest he was the victim of a sectarian attack or that there was any paramilitary involvement.

They have appealed to taxi drivers and motorists who were in the area between 4am and 5am, to contact them.
