Man injured in Limerick drive-by shooting

A 21-year-old man is recovering in hospital this morning after being injured in a drive-by shooting in Limerick city.

The man was hit in the foot when a number of shots were fired at him from a passing vehicle in the Roxboro area of the city at around 5.30am.

He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
