Armed robbery on security van

Armed robbers have escaped empty-handed after an attempted raid on a security van in south Dublin.

The two masked men tried to hold up the vehicle during an ATM replenishment on Glenageary Road.

No shots were fired and no-one has been injured.

They made off in a silver Hyundai Santa Fe which was later found abandoned.
