Greens hit out at Govt record on water quality

The Green Party has accused the Government of failing to conserve and protect the quality of Ireland’s drinking water supplies.

The party said the Fianna Fáil-Progressive Democrats coalition had failed to implement EU directives on water quality, particularly in relation to group water schemes.
