Woman killed in three-vehicle collision in Laois

A woman in her 50s has died in a road accident in Co Laois.

Four other people were injured in the three-vehicle collision which happened on the N8 in Dereen, two miles south of Durrow, shortly before 7pm last night.

Gardaí are withholding the dead woman’s name until all next of kin are informed.
