Implementation of Hanly Report ‘being affected by politics’

The author of the Hanly Report on hospital reform has reportedly claimed that the implementation of his report is being affected by politics and the upcoming local elections.

Reports this morning said David Hanly made the comments after being asked for his opinion on the Government’s apparent u-turn over the downgrading of the A&E units at Ennis and Nenagh hospitals.
