NRA seeking new tolls to raise €2bn funding
The National Roads Authority is reportedly seeking a range of new tolls on existing and planned motorways in an effort to raise €2bn in funding.
Reports this morning said the authority was hoping to raise funds for future construction projects by selling the rights to charge tolls on the M50, the Newbridge bypass in Co Kildare, the Jack Lynch Tunnel in Cork and the proposed new road between the M50 and Ashbourne, Co Meath.
