Funeral of Attracta Harron to take place

The funeral of murdered Tyrone pensioner Attracta Harron is to take place later today.

Mrs Harron's body was found buried in countryside near Sion Mills last Monday.

The 65-year-old retired librarian disappeared on December 11 last year while returning from Mass in Lifford, Co Donegal.

Requiem Mass will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Strabane this afternoon.

The burial will take place afterwards at Murlog Cemetery in Lifford.
