Gardaí to debate controversial paedophile motion

A controversial motion calling for residents to be given information about paedophiles in their communities is due to be debated later today at the annual conference of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors in Cork.

The motion was submitted by the Wicklow/Wexford branch of the association, but is opposed by the AGSI national executive.
