Deasy defiant on smoking ban

Fine Gael TD John Deasy has reiterated his opposition to the Government’s ban on smoking in Irish workplaces, including pubs and restaurants.

The Waterford TD said today: “I think it’s over the top, it’s extreme. I think that some accommodation should be made for people who have smoked for a long time.”
