Three arrested in NI anti-terror raids

Residents in 50 homes in Derry were told to remain indoors as police carried out a major anti-terrorist operation in the area today.

Three men were arrested during the early morning raids, shortly after 1am in the Limavady Road.

Police closed off a number of roads to traffic while searches took place in Browning Drive at the junction with the Limavady Road, Clooney Park West and Clooney Park East.
