FG: Stop taxing young out of housing market

A campaign is being launched today calling on the Government to stop taxing young people out of the housing market.

Young Fine Gael is claiming that just under half the cost of a new house goes towards Government taxes.

The party said three quarters of housebuyers are under the age of 35, and there's a need for a change in the taxation system to enable people to afford new homes.
