SIPTU has pulled out of national pay agreement talks on Sustaining Progress following comments made by the Tánaiste Mary Harney.

The union said it was concerned that there was no reference to the rights and interest of workers in the public transport and aviation sectors in remarks made by the Tánaiste over the weekend.
