Diageo: Pub remains Ireland’s favourite socialising venue

The pub remains Ireland’s favourite place for socialising, according to a study conducted by Diageo, the company that owns Guinness.

The research found that the average man’s main priority in choosing his local pub was the quality of the pint, while women were more interested in hygiene standards.
