Irish roads claim three lives today

A man in his twenties has been killed in a road accident in Co Louth. It was the third fatality on the roads today.

The man died following a two car collision on the outskirts of Dundalk at around 5.50pm.

He died at the scene and his body has been removed to the Louth County Hospital.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed at Rosslare Strand in Co Wexford this morning.

Earlier, an 18-year-old was killed in a road accident in Castlefin, Co. Donegal.

He was the rear seat passenger in a car which crashed at 2.20am.
