Arms find linked to dissident republicans

A massive haul of ammunition and bomb-making components uncovered by Fisheries Protection Officers outside Limerick city has been linked to dissident republican groups.

Almost 1,000 rounds of ammunition, several detonators and mercury – a substance used for bomb making - were found near Ardnacrusha power station in Co Clare last Wednesday afternoon.
