No progress reported in postal dispute
There has been no sign of structured talks commencing to resolve the postal dispute.
The chief executive of the Labour Relations Commission Kieran Mulvey has said there is no basis yet for direct negotiations as little progress has been made.
He urged both sides to return to negotiations. This is the seventh day of the dispute, with over 1,000 mailboxes around Dublin sealed.
Mr Mulvey has said while the dispute is a complex one, a resolution is not impossible.
