Revenue says €184m repaid in arrears clampdown
The chairman of the Revenue Commissioners has told the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee that up until yesterday a total of €184m had been paid into the Revenue coffers in tax arrears from 3,500 people responding to an offshore assets clampdown.
Frank Daly also said that in the past 24 hours another 1,500 people have made additional voluntary disclosures ahead of Monday's deadline, which have so far not been accounted for.
