CWU executive to discuss possible nationwide postal strike

The executive committee of the Communications Workers Union is due to meet today to discuss whether to call a nationwide postal strike.

The union’s members at An Post have already voted overwhelmingly in favour of industrial action over the company’s failure to implement a number of pay and reward deals and the Government’s failure to implement an employee share ownership scheme.
