Two youths were beaten in north Belfast today in a suspected sectarian attack.

Two youths were beaten in north Belfast today in a suspected sectarian attack.

The boys, one of whom was reportedly wearing a Rangers top, were walking along Limestone Road in the early hours of the morning when they were attacked by two men, one believed to be a taxi driver.

One of the youths had his nose broken and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A police spokesman said they were aware of the incident but had no further information.
