Man airlifted to hospital from Spanish vessel

The Shannon-based Irish Coastguard helicopter has been despatched to airlift a fishermen suspected of suffering a heart attack on board a trawler off the south-west coast this morning.

The captain of the vessel, which is believed to be Spanish, requested assistance shortly before 10am.
