Call to quiz Garda chief on 'theft of bombings file'

The Garda Commissioner should be called before a Dáil Committee and questioned about claims that a senior police officer stole files on the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, a victims’ group claimed today.

The Justice for the Forgotten group made the call after a newspaper alleged crucial documents about the 1974 bombings were found in the car of a senior Garda figure two years ago.
