The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has rejected claims of widespread opposition to decentralisation within the civil service, according to reports this morning.

Mr Ahern reportedly said yesterday that four times the required level of volunteers from some of the lower levels of the civil service had put their names forward for a move out of Dublin.
