Committee to conclude Dublin/Monaghan inquiry
The Oireachtas justice committee is due to conclude its investigation into the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings today.
The committee was asked to investigate the Barron Report into the bombings and decide if a public inquiry was warranted.
The Barron Report concluded that there was no evidence of British collusion with the loyalist paramilitaries who detonated three car bombs in Dublin and one in Monaghan on May 17, 1974, killing 33 people.
