Garda appeal to find service station robbers

Gardaí in Co Kildare are investigating an armed robbery on a petrol station in Clane.

The incident happened on the Celbridge road this morning, shortly before 10.30am.

Two masked and armed raiders entered a shop attached to the station, and held up staff with a handgun.

They made off with an undisclosed amount of money, in a red Seat Inca Van with false number plates.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
