The number of salmonella infections in Ireland is in decline, according to a report published today the Food Safety Authority.

The number of salmonella infections in Ireland is in decline, according to a report published today the Food Safety Authority.

The report said 640 salmonella cases were detected in 2000 and 428 in 2001.
