Mountjoy governor to retire when prison is moved

The governor of Dublin’s Mountjoy Prison is reportedly planning to retire when the jail is moved from its current location to the outskirts of the capital.

Reports this morning claimed the move was a blow to Justice Minister Michael McDowell’s planned prison reforms.
