Environmental groups angry at EPA allowance

Environmental groups have criticised pollution allowances granted to Irish industries by the Environmental Protection Agency.

The industrial emissions allowances published today set out the maximum annual amount of carbon dioxide that the top 100 polluters in Ireland can produce.
