Govt urged to be lenient towards migrant parents

The Children’s Rights Alliance has called on the Government to allow the migrant parents of Irish-born children to apply for residency in Ireland.

Until recently, such migrants were automatically granted residency on the basis that their child or children were Irish citizens.
