Health Minister criticised over Hepatitis C scandal

Fine Gael has criticisd Health Minister Micheál Martin’s failure to establish a public inquiry into the infection of haemophiliacs with Hepatitis C.

Party spokeswoman Olivia Mitchell claimed Mr Martin was resisting the establishment of an inquiry because he didn’t want to embarrass the board of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service.
