Patients group urges consultants to reconsider

The chairman of the Irish Patients Association, Stephen McMahon, has urged consultants to reconsider their planned industrial action.

It is feared Accident and Emergency units will be swamped with private patients tomorrow if hospital consultants commence industrial action.
