Taoiseach 'never suspected' corrupt Governemnt practices in 1980s

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, says he never suspected there was corrupt practice in Government in the late 1980s.

Speaking on national radio this morning, Mr. Ahern said elected representatives are far more accountable now.
