CSO reports increase in live register numbers

The number of people on the live register increased slightly last month, according to figures released today by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The CSO said the numbers signing on increased by 2.3% overall, but with seasonal factors taken into account, this increase fell to 0.7%.
